Diana finally arrives to the scene. "Sorry everyone. I thought Roger was covering this one, but apparently he was granted some last minute vacation time, and is on his way to Las Vegas as we speak!"

Michael gives Diana an appreciative nod, which does not go unnoticed by Holly. "Hey, well at least you're here now. What can you tell us about the victim."

Diana quickly scans the body to gather basic facts. "The victim has been dead for at least 12 hours. I see head trauma, as well as marks on her neck. She definitely took a beating before she died. I also see obvious sexual trauma, but it is difficult to determine the exact cause of death right now. I'll know more at the opening.

"Thanks, Diana." Michael replies with a quick wink. "I'll definitely catch up with you later."

"It sounds like a date to me." Holly replies with rolled eyes and a giggle. Her detective skills about these two were flawless; they definitely had the hots for each other.

After saying another quick goodbye to Diana, Michael and Holly reviewed their notes. "Shall we go check out her apartment, partner?"
Holly asked enthusiatically, eager to get started on this investigation. Michael replied with a knowing grin, still a bit startled that she discovered his secret relationship. "You're the primary, partner. You lead the way." (23)

Holly nods. Alright. She smiles. So how is Diana? Aren't you two dating or something? She had heard rumors at the shop about it but never had decided to ask.. Her cell rings interrupting the thought and she holds a finger up to him seeing the number. She smiles. Oh Hi.. Yeah.. Sorry I can't make lunch. No I had to come in. I am sorry. No please don't be mad. I am not blowing you off I swear.
Trust me I am really at work. Dinner. Well I maybe out later. Alright fine. She hangs up and has tears in her eyes. She looks at Michael and starts walking quickly off the scene and toward her car. (22)

Mike relays the findings to her, the looks of the body, the
forced 'entry', everything. "No doubt about it. She was raped." he
said, scratching his brown hair. "Now the trick is figuring out who."

A short phone call later and Mike was talking to Holly, "Diana will
check it out as soon as she can get here," (21)

Rita was not budging. He scoops her up and places her in the shower
him standing behind her and switches the cold water on full blast.
He smiles as she jerks awake. He smiles. Morning Sammy. We gotta
go.. Murders don't wait for us. I think we may have a serial killer

Holly strolls up beside him.She was unusually very happy. She was in
a bright pink skirt and blazer set with a white lacy tank top under
it. She smiles at Michael. Hey.. What do we got here? She says as
finishing the shirt distance to him.

Mike knelt by the body, which lay along the sand. The DB was a white
female, aprozimately in her late 20s, red hair and blue eyes. She had
on what was left of a swimsuit, a one piece. Signs of forced
penetration were obvious.

As he stood up, the lines from a Monty Python skit were ironically in
his head, 'This is a deceased parrot!'. 'Where are they?' he
wondered, but then realized who he was talking to... about. He
grinned.

Chris was laying in his bed when he got the call for that case. He
gets up after telling them he would call his partner. He knew what
it took to get her up.. He smiles as he dresses and then quickly
drives to her apartment. He uses his key and enter the apartment
knowing exactly where she was. He goes to the bedroom to find her
curled up under her comforter. He sits down on the bed and kisses
her cheek. Sammy get up.. We got a case. Come on.. You gotta get
up.. He starts tickling her lightly. I brought you a brownie and
some coffee..

Franny awoke to the sound of the alarm clock on their night stand. She reached over turning it off. It was a Saturday and she and Harry had promised to spend time with his wife that weekend. His cases at the shop made it hard for them sometimes to get enough quality time together to suit her, she thought to herself. She turned to glance at Harry as he sill slept peacably beside her snoring away. She rose to get up out of bed to go start their poached eggs for breakfast and jumped at the sound of a voice near her...
