Rita sat speechless in her seat as she watched her best friend walk
around to his side of the car. She had been often thinking about just
such a moment over the past year. She had always thought that Chris
saw her as just a partner- one of the guys...now here they were, he
had just professed his love for her and she had yet to return the
admission. She decided that she would remedy that when he got into
